Purchased the starter pack. Minimal dead beetles noted. Placed mealworms and beetles in drawers with oatmeal. One week later and I have pupae. Would definitely recommend this starter pack if you are looking g to raise your own mealworms

I am so excited to start my mealworm farm project! I plan to feed my critters fresh mealworms as well as provide backyard birds fresh treats!
I'm also planning on exploring mealworms as protein supplements for myself by making "flour" and other mealworm snacks!
Easy to set up and sleek designs. the carbon filters help cut down any smell. I haven't noticed any yet however.
Can't wait to show my friends and get them on the mealworm train :)

Amazing concept utilizing recycled materials. It’s compact and simple, easy to store and not an eye sore. A bit on the pricier side, but it’ll make its profits back, I’m sure!

I am very happy with my meal worm farm purchase! The process is easy and efficient. I Also purchased beetles and meal worms. They came healthy and hungry. It did take a long time to unpack the bugs because they were all over the newspaper, other than that my experience was great and I have already recommended The Bug Factory to several friends with chickens!

Very pleased with how fast the worms got here, and arrived safely and well packaged.

I wanted to set up a colony of dubias so I could have sustainable feeding for ALL of my many reptiles, and they all came in great health and at a good size. I do like the bug factory’s stock, I get my hoppers from here as well - Riddler Reptiles
